Dolly Shot is delighted to be screening at Vine again to support the NSPCC
We will be screening this classic endearing romantic comedy in the faboulous surroundings of Vine Wine Bar ‘When Harry met Sally (1989) Cert15 In 1977, college graduates Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) share a contentious car ride from Chicago to New York, during which they argue about whether men and women can ever truly be strictly platonic friends. Ten years later, Harry and Sally meet again at a bookstore, and in the company of their respective best friends, Jess (Bruno Kirby) and Marie (Carrie Fisher), attempt to stay friends without sex becoming an issue between them.
Accompanied by delicious food served before the film - we will be serving two courses of sharing platters;
Sweet potato, rosemary & garlic soup served with olive & red pesto scones (v) Italian Meatballs or Moroccan falafels (v), Lemon & saffron Chicken or vegetable (v) skewers, Grilled Vegetables with honey, chilli & herb dressing (v), selection of homemade bread, olives & dips
Followed by chocolate chip cheesecake and strawberry shortcake hearts
Vine Cocktail Bar will open from 7pm giving you plenty of time to relax & enjoy a glass of fizz with your meal before the film starts at 8.30 pm (Last entry will be 8pm)
